FREE TRAINING
For Small Public Water System Operators

Northwest Iowa Community College is one of five community colleges in Iowa that has received a grant for a combined project through One Source Training (the partnership of Iowa's 15 community colleges.)

During this renewal period, which ends March 31, 2009, One Source will coordinate 10 workshop topics and each will be offered a minimum of 8 times, with at least one in each DNR region.

Topics for this fall are:

• Chlorination
• Variable Frequency Drives
• Water Quality Issues in the Distribution System

These workshops will be offered free of charge to those operators serving populations less than 3,300.
